Denji, a boy living as a devil hunter with his chainsaw devil, Pochita, struggles to pay off the debt left by his parents while living in poverty. Betrayed and killed, Denji, fading into unconsciousness, makes a contract with Pochita and is resurrected as Chainsaw Man, possessing the heart of a devil.
