"Where does the feeling of wanting to support come from?" Takanozaki High School, a prestigious school aiming for consecutive victories at the National Cheerleading Championship. Kanata Misora, a first-year student and a champion at the All-Japan Junior High School Championships, suddenly becomes unable to fly due to a mistake during the tournament. One day, she catches sight of Suzuha, a parkour high school girl leaping from building to building alongside a train. Along with Kanata and Suzuha, there are Shion, a rhythmic gymnastics princess; Anna, a returnee from Brazil; Nodoka, a yoga philosophy girl; and Megumi, Kanata's former teammate who uses a wheelchair. With their varied hobbies, skills, and personalities, these six high school girls sing, clash, perform stunts, and daydream together. When their pure feelings of wanting to support unite, the cheers of PoMPoMs transcend cheerleading and resonate in people's hearts.
