Hanasaku Iroha

Ohana Matsumae is a lively and headstrong teenager living in Tokyo with her free-spirited single mother. One day, her mother suddenly decides to flee with her new boyfriend to escape debt collectors, leaving Ohana to fend for herself. Following her mother’s philosophy of "rely only on yourself," she moves to a rural town in Japan, where her cold and strict grandmother runs a traditional inn. As she adjusts to this new way of life, Ohana faces the challenges of working as a maid, all while making friends and discovering the charm of her new surroundings.
