Peaceful days hide a secret: a clandestine organization working to prevent crime, known as "DA (Direct Attack)." The agents are girls called "Licorice." Thanks to them, the everyday routine feels normal. The elite known as the strongest Licorice, Chisato Nishikigi, and the capable yet troubled Licorice, Takina Inoue, work at a café called "Licorico," which is one of their branches. Here, the orders they take range from coffee and dessert requests to babysitting, shopping assistance, and Japanese lessons for foreigners—tasks that seem uncharacteristic for Licorice. The carefree optimist Chisato and the cool, efficiency-driven Takina make an unusual but dynamic duo as their chaotic daily lives begin!
