A new year marks a fresh start for Kitauji High School's concert band. With the departure of the third-year seniors and the arrival of eager first-year juniors, the band faces new challenges as they strive toward their ultimate goal—reaching the nationals. Now in her second year, Kumiko Oumae and her friends are joined by a lively and unconventional group of newcomers, sparking both camaraderie and conflict within the band. As they work tirelessly to improve, hidden emotions come to light, but not every problem is easily resolved. The trust and bonds between the band members will be put to the test as they prepare to take on the regionals together.
